Subject: Migration Morning bird walk, August 30th
Greeting all,

The fog lifted in time to observe a Bonaparte’s Gull foraging (surface-dipping) over Lake Perez — a nice sight to begin a new season of Migration Mornings. Our group of nineteen enjoyed the boardwalk trail; highlights included a vocalizing Eastern Screech Owl and singing Brown Creepers among others. The bird walk series will continue through September 27th, (Wednesdays, 7:30 to 9 am) all are welcome, and thanks to Wiscoy for Animals their support of the program.

Best,
Doug
