Subject: [Va-bird] Fwd: eBird Report - Hwy 1--GW Pkwy Pedestrian Bridge, Aug 27, 2017
I birded Hunting Creek mudflats from the pedestrian bridge this morning as the tide moved in.
I found a White-rumped Sandpiper, among 9 species of shorebirds. Also, I believe I found a Stilt Sandpiper. Photos are in the eBird checklist. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S38846668 <http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S38846668>
It had greenish legs, white supercilium; smaller than Greater Yellowlegs and slimmer than a dowitcher. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks!
Phil
