Subject: [sbcobirding] Sandpiper activity
The sandpiper activity sure has picked up in the area. Today at the Goleta Sanitary District I counted 12 Wilson's phalaropes and 1 lesser yellow legs. This is the first time that I've seen a lesser yellowlegs here and the most phalaropes I've seen here. Must have some good food sources. The birds are in the northern lagoon.
