Cool update. Would Jory (or one of the myriad smarter than me) know if the Mississippi Kite is nomadic or can it be expected to linger around that state park for a while?

A Mississippi Kite just flew south over my head while taking a walk with my
family at Collin Huntington State Park in Redding. Seen at the
intersection of the red trail by the bridge.
