Subject: [CT Birds] Glass Buildings and Bird Strikes
It is no secret that millions of birds are killed every year by window strikes in the US. There are numerous tall buildings with highly reflective or mirror glass right here in CT. The situation raises a few questions.
Should there be some kind of regulation that limit the use of mirror glass? I doubt that would pass in the current political climate.
Should NAS lobby for bird conservation measures?
How about CAS? Or COA??
