Subject: [obol] Stuff to watch out for on the Columbia Estuary
An ELEGANT TERN and two BAR-TAILED GODWITS were reported from East Sand
Island last week. Those looking for the Godwits might want to check the
Ilwaco Boat Basin at an incoming tide.

A suspiciously small egret was reported from the slough south of Jones
Beach off hwy30 in the Marshland Area, Columbia Co.

A SNOWY PLOVER was photographed on Del Rey Beach last week. Two
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS were photographed at Long Beach.

Rumors of SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER and LONG-BILLED CURLEW on Clatsop Beaches.

I am choosing to ignore all the Golden Eagle reports, given that every
BALD EAGLE nest in the County with youngsters on it seems to have picked
last week to fledge juveniles.
