The North Aurora Neotropic Cormorant flew in from the north around 2:00pm today and landed in a dead tree on the west side of the river about 300yds north of the dam. Poor quality and distant photos obtained. Only had time to view for about 10-15 min but it was still there when I left. There were 4 Double-crested Cormorants sitting on a log up by the first island and one fishing in the river nearby.
