Subject: [slocobirding] Notable Migrant
Mid-morning today a sub-adult SWAINSON'S HAWK flew high over Deer
Canyon, Arroyo Grande, on a steady NW course.

No passerine migrants noticed in the air this morning, none in the
oaks. Zonotrichia numbers diminished to one or two remnant
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS.

Two VAUX'S SWIFTS were the only other migrant fly-bys this morning. An
adult BALD EAGLE over western Deer Canyon was almost undoubtedly one of
the San Luis Obispo pair.
