The Pollinator Habitat Bill passed last year failed to exclude pesticides and neonicotinoid pesticide-treated plants from the pollinator plots the bill instructed three state agencies to plant. The bill passed this year closes that loophole. Pesticides and plants treated with neonicotinoids are death traps to Pollinators and potentially to birds.
The Pollinator Protection Act ended retail sale of neonicotinoids.
