Scotland Road wet meadows, Newbury

Comments: We met Guillermo Rodriguez (?), John Nelson, and Kirk Elwell
here and compared notes with them. We saw many snipe and at least one
pectoral sandpiper.
12 species; higlights:

American Wigeon 4
Green-winged Teal (American) 26 Most if not all paired up. Did not see
any horizontal white stripes.
Pectoral Sandpiper 1
Wilson's Snipe 70 plus--I'm sure we missed a lot

Comments: Then we stopped at the Newman Rd. salt pans to look for the
pair of blue-winged teal that has been here for a few days.

Rowley: Cross St. wet meadow

Comments: We stopped here to look for a Eurasian wigeon. It was gone,
but we found our first solitary sandpipers of the year.
