Visitors:
My faithful observers returned today including Russ States, Ken Felix, Sam
Stull, and Jerry Stanley. Visitors included, Roger Donn, David Sublette,
Joao Taveres, Sara Sargent, Laura Maria, Bonnie Ginader, and Jennifer.


Weather:
High clouds with plenty of sun with periods of cloud cover, nice strong
wind from the SW all day with temps. reaching the upper 70s.

Raptor Observations:
A good start to the day, but the flight stalled around noon and never
continued with much gusto. Another small flight of Broad-wings today
passing through in singles or groups of two or three.

Non-raptor Observations:
Common Loon--2, Double-crested Cormorant--33, Great Blue Heron--4, Barn
Swallow--4, Tree Swallow--many, Cedar Waxwing--6, Yellow-belled
Sapsucker--1, Northern Flicker--13, Red Admiral butterfly--4, Mourning
Cloak butterfly--1, Eastern Meadowlark--1

Predictions:
Warm SW continues, but rain likely. Maybe some birds will move during dry
times, if there are any left in the pipeline.
