Subject: [cobirds] Least Sandpiper at Rocky Mountain NWR, Adams County
At 11 am today John Breitsch found a Least Sandpiper for our DFO field trip group. It was on the east shoreline of the small playa along the Woodland Trail. No other shorebirds were present at the Arsenal except 2 Avocets near the entrance road. It showed the bright yellow legs and extensive dark breast pattern of a Least.
