The TUFTED DUCK continues on Pintail Marsh at Ankeny NWR.
A movement of BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS with a few BLACK-THROATED GRAY
WARBLERS were reported during the week. CHIPPING SPARROWS are also arriving.
A migrant flock of WHITE-FRONTED GEESE passed over Corvallis April 4. On
April 3 two CASPIAN TERS were seen north of Florence and at Alsea Bay.
Another was at Bandon April 5.
A BLACK PHOEBE was at Thornton Creek east of Newport April 1. On April 1 two
WESTERN KINGBIRDS were at Powell Butte Park in Portland. A BLACK-NECKED
STILT and two YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were at Fern Ridge Reservoir April 1.
A CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD visited a Eugene feeder April 2. A COSTA'S
HUMMINGBIRD was seen April 1 at a Springfield feeder. A PINE GROSBEAK was
seen April 2 near Prospect in NE Jackson County.
