I rescued another Starling trapped in a downspout [gutter end of the line] today. Honestly, for a bird that has been remarkably successful in colonizing N America, you would think that NOT entering a dark, vertical cavity with the idea of nesting would have been imprinted onto the genome long ago...sighhhhhhhhhhhhh
On the bright side, the downspout did need cleaning...
