Subject: [ia-bird] PILEATED WOODPECKER, GOLDEN EAGLE, and GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE in NW Iowa:
Hello Birders,
I heard a PILEATED WOODPECKER yesterday (March 27th) at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center in Woodbury County. It was located to the east of Kestrel Point and northwest of Mount Lucia (landmarks found on the nature center map).

There was an adult GOLDEN EAGLE one mile north of Turin in Monona County this morning. It flew west over the Loess Hills WMA towards Davi7s Wetland.

A GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was at Table Marsh in Woodbury County this evening.
