4 pm EST when the greatest numbers were observed.

Weather:
Overcast with mist and sometimes dense fog through about 1:30. Then some
clearing and raptor movement.

Raptor Observations:
No raptor movement all morning and into the afternoon. A roost of 113 TVs
in cemetery. After some partial clearing a variety of species moved
through. Count was suspended from 12 - 2 due to the weather.

Non-raptor Observations:
A large number of song sparrows (70+) observed in the open fields adjacent
to the main site. Also, singing field sparrows, a few tree sparrows and a
belted kingfisher.

Site Description:
This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline
of the east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
