Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday March 16. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

The Coos Bay KING EIDER, Salishan BROWN THRASHER, and the Ankeny NWR TUFTED
DUCK continue to be seen. The elusive GYRFALCON near Halsey is still in the
area.

Among the many migrants at Boiler Bay March 10 were 500 RED-THROATED LOONS,
300 SURF SCOTERS, and 500 KITTIWAKES. On March 12 five FORK-TAILED
STORM-PETRELS were at Boiler Bay . One was at Yaquina Bay March 10. The
wintering MOCKINGBIRD at Newport is still being seen.

On March 14 a CLIFF SWALLOW and a ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW were among the
swallow swarm over Force Lake at Delta Park in North Portland. A
ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW was seen that day at the Tualatin NWR. On March 9 a
EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL was at the Tualatin NWR.
