Subject: [NHBirds] Lakes Region waxwings (both species)
Sorry for the second post of the day, but I did want to report a few nice
Bohemian Waxwing flocks. On Bean Road in Moultonborough, just north of the
Center Harbor town line, there were about 150 in a residential area,
perching and flying to a crabapple tree in a front yard. In Meredith at
Mills Falls Marketplace (across from the Town Docks) there were about 200
perching and feeding in the crabapples in the parking lot, joined by eight
Cedar Waxwings. It was nice to see them in larger numbers once again!
