Good afternoon all-

Regular cast of characters at the feeders this morning: juncoes, white
breasted nuthatches, no. cardinals, tufted titmice, red bellied woodpecker,
and occasional house sparrow. A dozen northern flickers nearby on the
ground where drifting snow exposed the grass. More exciting visitors
included one RED BREASTED NUTHATCH, a YELLOW BELLIED SAPSUCKER and a
copulating pair of RED SHOULDERED HAWKS in a nearby hemlock.

A couple of robins stopped by just before the storm a few days ago. Haven't
heard the woodcocks in a week--hope they're finding enough to eat in the
thawed and soggy spots.

Spring is slowly springing. Stay warm and hopeful!

Good birding all,

Alexis Barbalinardo
