Raptor Observations: An eagle day today. Highlight was an adult Golden Eagle which glided by high at 1:45 pm. Five Bald Eagles heading north plus four others, one of which was likely a juvenile, dispersing from Florida.
Non-raptor Observations: A pair of Green-winged Teals, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers up close
Site Description Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest.
