Subject: [CT Birds] Recent Stratford birds
Recent sightings by me in Stratford:
3/4 - Stratford Point - 1 adult NORTHERN GANNET- seen with Timothy Thompson.3/3 - 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS as it foraged in shallow pool at corner of Lordship Blvd (CT-113) and Access Rd.    - 13 BONAPARTE'S GULLS among plankton-feeding flock of 900 Ring-billed and 200 Herring Gulls off the Lordship Seawall and Russian Beach 3pm. Recent plankton-feeding by gulls seems to be more reliable in afternoon than in morning.
- Birdseye boat ramp and vicinity- 4 NORTHERN SHOVELERS, 9 AMERICAN COOTS.
