Nice group of 16 showed up for the trip, at Lower Mud Lake. A lot of the views were a bit far, but the numbers were great, for this time of year.
From the south side, with great lighting, the ducks flocks were still out a bit. But scope views were excellent. The Bald Eagles kicked up the ducks every now and then. The number of Canvasbacks ,in the air was impressive. Only one pintail was spotted, and no Wood duck. 16 duck species plus coot, Canada Geese and Pied-billed Grebe were seen. We did get 3 White-fronted Geese fly over. Thanks to all that showerd up. Steve Thiessen Stoughton Dane co.
