Subject: [Ohio-birds] Summit County Merlin, Greenlawn Cemetery, Romig Rd., Akron OH, 28 Feb 2017
I stopped by the cemetery at 5:20 pm today and the Merlin was again perched in the dead snag at the top of a conifer east of the flagpole that is in Section G.

Early morning and late afternoon seem to be the best times to find it, and that tree seems to be its preferred perch.

As Patrick Coy reported on Saturday, it left at 7:25 am. I have only seen it after 5 pm although Bill Osborne and Bob Furst found it around 4:45 pm Sunday.
