Subject: [ia-bird] Many birds in the yard Harrison County 2/24
Last night and today in Western Iowa we had rain, ice, and snow cover (4"
perhaps).

We had an number of birds at the feeder. I had to work so I couldn't count
all of them!

30 Turkeys
Large flocks of Red-wing blackbirds (25+ at a time) a good mix of males and
females.
At least 1 Rusty Blackbird
10 Starlings
Purple finch
American Tree Sparrows

The usual's:
Cardinals
House sparrows
Am Goldfinch
WB nuthatch
BC Chickadees
Downey's
Hairy's
Red Bellied Woodpeckers
House finches
Junco's
