Posted a few days ago: Measles detected in wastewater testing.
Just saw this and thinking about the great birding in that area, decided an FYI email could be informative...although it will be HOT there this week.
Wouldn't worry about being out at the refuges...unless there are large groups of people. But stopping at restaurants, stores, motels and campgrounds, etc. could be occasions for exposure.Vaccination or immunity from a childhood case is the best protection.
