The Sunday morning bird walk at Ft. Harrison State Park produced 62 species on May 24th. Birding was slow with reduced vocalization from breeding species and a dearth of migrants. A Willow Flycatcher may get the honor for top highlight since it sang for us and perched in the open long enough for all to see. The complete list is below.
There is one more migration bird walk at Ft. Harrison. Meet at 8am on May 31st in the NE corner of Delaware Lake parking lot.
