Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Hot Spots for eBird 2nd week of December - Monday Dec 8 - Sunday Dec 14
Greetings

Finishing up a pretty good week, a little over half of the listed hot spots were visited. Which is pretty good as some were in areas not normally visited.

Just a heads up that next week will be my last week of sending out these weekly lists. It’s been a fun time, the birding community has stepped up and a lot has been accomplished, but it’s time for me to move on to other projects. I will have a summary of accomplishments with next week's list.

Here’s the list and map for this upcoming week. 8 Hot Spots (highlighted in red) only need a checklist this week and they will have a full bar chart.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
