As soon as all results are submitted, the official Audubon report is compiled and submitted to Audubon. You can view the official report by clicking on the Audubon link at the bottom of this post and then clicking on the button labeled “Access Count Results”.
If you don’t use the CBC Report Form, please be sure to include participant names, time started & stopped, hours & miles by foot and car. If you use an eBird trip report, that information must also be included in the email.
Rare or extremely infrequent species require a few extra supporting details on the Rare Bird Report form which is also available at the link above.
Related to the official CBC is the optional reporting of species seen during the Audubon Count week which is defined as from 3 days before to 3 days after our official CBC but not including the count day Dec. 14. For this CBC, Count week is Dec. 11 through Dec. 17 but not including Dec. 14. Count week species are reported only if not seen during the CBC on Dec. 14. Only species names are reported (not numbers) and they are marked as cw in the reports. Again, reporting Count week species is optional and not required. E.g., our last year's official report had only 1 Count week species reported.

If the CBC has to be canceled because of weather, it will be announced on this listserv group or by separate email.
