Raptor Observations: Adult Bald Eagle and adult Red-tailed Hawk roosting in front of the lookout on the south side ~20 km from one another. They stayed perched in the trees until 1044. Great looks at the three adult red-shoulders and two adult Golden Eagles passing by.
Non-raptor Observations: Morning flight of 185 crows, ravens calling and flying past the lookout all day. Over 370 American Goldfinches with a flock of 150. Canada Geese started flying south with large flocks one-after-the-next from 1200 until 1600, with a very conservative 14,000 tallied!
