Subject: [GABO-L] Sandhill Crane sightings
Hello...
Time to put your listening ears on.  We've had sandhill cranes pass through 2 separate days this week.  I almost killed myself the first day making it outside because my brain wasn't comprehending what my ears were hearing.  But I did manage to see them passing behind the house and ketteling.  Than a friend texted me that they had just gone over Green Meadows park right after I saw them.

Today Victor was outside and heard them so banged on the window and yelled so I knew to run outside.  They were high in the sky going down Due West Road..

So yes...keep your eyes and ears open.  They seem a bit early this year.  The past few years they waited until December to start going through.  Many years ago, they did traditionally come through at this time in November.  It will be interesting to see what they do this year.
