some birds I found of interest in the past couple of weeks:
Orange-crowned Warbler (SORDIDA ssp.) - an individual that appeared to be the Channel Island breeding sub-species _sordida_ was on Corona Hill 10/23 and presumably the same individual was relocated at the same spot on 11/1.
Nashville Warbler - one was in Golden Gate Park at Elk Glen on 10/26, another was a Gamble Memorial park in the Haight 10/30. These are late dates for migrants and possibly birds that may winter locally
Northern Yellow Warbler - 10/28, in the blooming albizzia by the Lake Merced Boathouse, late date for a migrant and quite likely a bird that may be settling for winter. On previous CBCs this spot is usually hosting at least a couple.
Black-throated Gray Warbler - Golden Gate Gate Park/Lily Pond 10/30. Another late migrant/potential local winterer
