Pam and I checked out More Mesa this evening and soon after 5 pm along with other birders saw the Short-eared Owl first reported by Alex yesterday. Unfortunately, it was too late for photos but earlier we did manage to get good views of one of three Northern Harriers that were foraging on the Mesa.
