Posted by Julie Wraithmell in the Florida Panhandle Birding Facebook group— “Sad news this evening via Karen Clements Seward: Valdosta birder (by way of Tallahassee, and Broward Co before that) Linda Most passed away after a brief, aggressive illness. Linda was welcoming, whip-smart, kind and creative, a builder of community and a believer in leaving the world better than she found it. If you've birded the Panhandle, you've run into her and her motley crew of South Georgia birders seeking out and revelling in the sheer joy of birding. I should say more, but I am sad and can't do her justice in this moment. Karen asked I make sure the news reached the Tallahassee birding community. Linda's family has asked for privacy in their immediate grief; no doubt service details will be forthcoming.”
