Hello!
I'm inquiring if State College Bird Club would like to participate in some way with our library department's annual SCASD Reads family event on February 5, 2025. This year's theme is "SCASD Reads Animal Adventures" and we are planning read-alouds, games, activities and crafts for all ages to the students and families who attend. It's a fun, family-friendly open house format.
We had almost 1500 attendees last year who dabbled in some/all of the activities, and we'd love to include State College Bird Club as part of this year's offerings. Other local non-profit groups are attending and will read-aloud books to kids and/or bring animals and animal displays for families to experience.
If this is something that some volunteers from your club might be able to do, please let me know and we can work out the details!
