Comments: Unfortunately, I could not get to my waterbird count site at Presque Isle since the outer portion of the park was closed due to downed trees from last nights wind. There was a fair number of westbound scaup, Red-breasted Merganser, and Horned Grebe, with scaup moving far offshore. Scoters were in good numbers, but most remained too far offshore to identify to species.
