Cool and damp, not as windy as predicted. NW winds, 4 to 10mph. Raptor Observations: Early Goldens, Late Balds, not much in-between. An adult Golden crossed the ridge low, from south to north, near the tower, as it was being mobbed by crows. The golden shook them off and then circled to the top of a thermal, providing great views for 5 mins, slowly drifting to the south side before it headed onward. Two adult Balds acted like fighter jets, swooping in very low below the tree tops, over the road in front of us, then out to the north side just over the owl decoy and down the ridge. Non-raptor Observations: Craig heard a Barred Owl early. Blue jays, TVs, BVs, Goldfinch, C.Wren, WB Nuthatch, Ravens, A.Crows, Pileated, Downy, Hairy WPs, Cardinal, Chickadees, GCKinglets, Juncos. One mouse behind us rustling the leaves. Tossed it some peanuts. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Darrell Smith (<oleagleye...>) Jacks Mountain information may be found at:https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fsite%2Fjacksmountainhawkwatch%2Fhome&data=05%7C02%<7CScbirdcl...>%7C9014f52e5cab47d5598e08dd082cf0ae%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638675711288179099%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=SrLjzIO6%2FMyZT7bqJ1lJPtGcMidkjcsvyVbzNc4xSwU%3D&reserved=0 More site information at hawkcount.org: https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhawkcount.org%2Fsiteinfo.php%3Frsite%3D104&data=05%7C02%<7CScbirdcl...>%7C9014f52e5cab47d5598e08dd082cf0ae%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638675711288335405%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=NgODXdCsuy0jJNYNZdLL6HeReDLgj5sxz60gZ0%2FYcww%3D&reserved=0
