There are two ways to do this. In the app, there is an Explore feature. By
default it is set to search for hotspots but you can change it using the
green icon to search by species.

On the ebird web page there is also an Explore Species page where you can
then look at a map of sightings. That map can be filtered to different date
ranges and geographic locations.
