Comments: A strange morning in waterfowl flight direction. Most of the large flocks of Red-breasted Merganser were moving east while nearly all scaup were moving west. Heaviest flights were during the first hour after sunrise. Just two large flocks of Red-breasted Merganser made up for more than 50% of the that species total. Highlights were an adult Parasitic Jaeger and an adult Little Gull. Both seen moving well offshore. Roger Donn assisted with the count.
