Visitors: 27 visitors to South Lookout including some who participated on the Guided Hawk Watch Hike, and 4 visitors at the North Lookout including mid-afternoon assists by Mike and Amy Kaufman, and Guitar Dave.
Weather: Visibility 15-20+ miles; Temps 47-58F; NNW Winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 30 mph; heavy cloud cover in the morning cleared to full blue skies in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: Bald Eagle (9): 1011a, 1025a,1035a, 1133a, 1134a, 1137a, 1205i, 1206a, 1250a. An additional 9 Bald Eagles flew upridge.
Golden Eagle (3): 1419i, 1422a, 1530a.
Peregrine Falcon (1): 1016
Non-raptor Observations: Canada Goose (30), Common Mergansers (2+), American Crow (6), Common Raven (17), and several flocks of American Robins.
