Subject: State College Christmas Bird Count for 2024 on Sunday, December 15
The State College Christmas Bird Count for 2024 will take place Sunday, Dec 15 as part of the 125th Audubon Christmas Bird Count which is from December 14, 2024 through January 5, 2025.

If you wish to do the same route this year, or do a different route,
or if you wish to participate and do not have a route,
or you would like to accompany someone else on their route,
or if you know a non-club member who would like to participate,
please tell the Co-compiler <rbf...> <mailto:<rbf...> below as soon as possible.

After the results of the count have been entered on the Audubon web site, you can view them as follows:

2. under "Christmas Bird Count Links”, click on “Access Count Results” and then click “Current" and from the pull-down list, select "Results by Count”
3. enter the code PASC in the box "Count Code”; click the small circle in the displayed count area description
4. choose your report format (PDF, Word, etc), and click Export to download the report.

You can do that now for last year's count by selecting Historical instead of Current in the above instructions.

It has links to a map of the count circle and a downloadable copy of the Report Form that can be used for the State College or Bald Eagle State Park count. The count circle maps include a static approximate circle, and a more precise circle that can be displayed with Google Earth and viewed at any zoom level.
