Subject: [SFBirds] Golden-crowned Kinglet on Sunset Blvd
I had a solo singing Golden-crowned kinglet in the pine on Sunset Blvd. and Santiago/37th two afternoons ago. I'm not birding as much as others here so I was wondering if this is a good year for G-cKs? Do they even have irruption years or are they just so discrete that they're here and I don't notice. I think it's been about five years since I've personally seen one in the city but I know others report them infrequently.
